WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

Like hair extensions, eyelash extensions add length and volume to natural eyelashes. Eyelash extensions are glued onto each individual natural lash. False eyelashes and eyelash extensions are not the same. False lashes are temporary lashes and eyelash extensions are semi- permanent.

HOW LONG DO THEY NORMALLY LAST?

Eyelash extensions last 2-3 weeks. By the 2-3 week mark is when you will need a fill in order to maintain full and fluffy lashes.

WILL EYELASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL EYELASHES?

NO. Lash extensions should not damage your natural lashes. Natural lashes only become damaged if they aren’t properly applied. You don’t want to rub or pull at your lash extensions because this can damage your natural lashes.

CAN I WEAR MAKEUP WITH THEM?

Absolutely! It is best to wear oil free makeup around your eyes. Oil’s can break down the glue faster. Therefore it is important to wear oil-free/ lash extensions safe makeup around the eyes as well as wash them daily.

CAN I GET THE LASHES WET?

Of course! It is important to wash your lashes at least once a day with lash cleanser and water. This helps ensure you have good retention as well as preventing future build up on the lashes.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPLY THEM?

A full set of eyelash extensions can take anywhere from an hour and a half to 3 hours. Lash fills are normally an hour to an hour and a half.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY LASH APPOINTMENT?

Before your lash appointment it is important to remove all your makeup and wash your lashes. Like anything you always want to start with a clean “palette” to ensure the best work and best retention. 

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF LASH EXTENSIONS?

it is important to not rub or pull your lash extensions since this can damage your natural lashes. We will provide you with a lash cleanser to use on your lashes everyday to prevent build up of bacteria or makeup.
